Meet Miss Eunice Oppong Akua Nkrumah – Contestant for Face of North UEW 2025
Miss Eunice Oppong Akua Nkrumah, known on stage as Ohemaa, is a Level 100 student at the University of Education, Winneba, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies. Proudly hailing from Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Ohemaa is admired for her hard work, determination, and respectful nature—qualities that consistently bring joy and positivity to those around her.
Her compassionate heart and sincere kindness have allowed her to form genuine, meaningful connections with others. With a reputation for trustworthiness, helpfulness, and quiet courage, she reflects the essence of inner strength and humility. Despite her graceful appearance, Ohemaa remains grounded, calm, and deeply principled.
Naturally introverted, she often finds strength in listening rather than speaking. This trait has nurtured in her a deep sense of empathy and patience. Knowing that leadership and pageantry demand boldness and visibility, Ohemaa made the brave decision to step outside her comfort zone by joining the Face of North UEW pageant—not to alter who she is, but to grow beyond her own limitations.
To Ohemaa, introversion is not a limitation—it is a foundation for thoughtful, impactful leadership. She holds resilience, empathy, courage, and personal growth as her core values. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and singing, expressive hobbies that showcase her creativity and vibrant spirit.
Her chosen advocacy project, “Promoting Girl-Child Education in Underprivileged Communities,” underscores her deep commitment to social change and youth empowerment. With passion and purpose, she aims to educate and empower young girls to resist child marriage, challenge societal norms, and pursue their right to education. If crowned Face of North UEW 2025, Ohemaa plans to champion this cause by raising awareness and launching impactful community-based initiatives.
